I’m not sure how many people have heard of Knock Knock, but I think I heard about them back in college when I was looking for a ridiculously witty gift for a ridiculously witty friend online. They have loads of “creative, smart, well-designed gifts” for friends, coworkers, even loverrsss ;)… The description of their philosophy does it better justice…
“… We concoct, manufacture, and distribute witty objects of cosmopolitan panache from our shamelessly sunny perch on the left-hand coast. Our domain is desire rather than necessity, though we seek to infuse our creations with utility and meaning…”
I can’t really describe some of their stuff as well as I can show you… check out one of their many smart/creative notepads below:
They also have stamps, some that say WTF, Crap, etc. and you can check a box (much like the notepads) to say “Crap…on a stick.” Or something I could apply to some family members who shall remain nameless… the social media citation, which lets people know when they need to stop with the “banal status updates”… “narcissistic profile pics”… anddd “liking stupid posts.”
Or if you don’t really know anyone who would find these humorous if used on them… you can always get your kicks by “liking” them on Facebook or following them on Twitter. They always have funny things to say (like most recently…”After ignoring Bennett’s horrendous grammar, punctuation, spelling, racist & sexist remarks, this gave us a smirk. http://bit.ly/uLzwNP”).
Needless to say, everyone enjoys a good laugh so check ‘em out, follow their tweets, buy yourself some Apology Nifty Notes so the next time you blow up at your husband for obnoxiously singing “Don’t Cry for me Argentina” over and over… you can justifiably blame it on mercury being in retrograde.
